I have often joked that as a designer, I am a "dealer in corporate
propaganda." It's only a partial joke. In the same vein, I've adopted
"I tell stories" as my current personal tagline, which is a play of
words on a Southernism meaning that I tell lies for a living. After all, isn't that what advertising really is—whether direct lies or a
blander embellishing of the truth?
